The library in Gold Beach has no dedicated meeting room space. With the support of the community, the Library plans to build a learning center annex onto the existing library. It will have one room large enough to accommodate 150 people, a smaller room for groups of 15 people or less, and a technology lab.

The library has recently received three generous bequests, and the Friends of the Library plan to write grants for matching funds. They will also fundraise in the construction of this meeting space.
